On November 26, 2023, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident in the 6200 block of Ridgecrest Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered 37-year-old Jeanifer Harris and 35-year-old Roderick Terry, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Preliminary investigations indicated that Terry had shot Harris before turning the gun on himself in an apparent murder-suicide. Both individuals were transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
