On December 19, 2023, at approximately 8:07 p.m., 25-year-old Raymundo Martinez-Gutierrez was fatally shot in McAllen, Texas. Responding to reports of a vehicle accident in the 2800 block of Business Highway 83, McAllen Police Department officers discovered Martinez-Gutierrez unresponsive in his crashed vehicle. Emergency medical personnel determined he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds; he was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
