On January 11, 2024, at approximately 8:05 a.m., 23-year-old Richar Torres Gomez and a 19-year-old male companion were involved in a confrontation with an unknown male suspect over a loud vehicle near 9707 South Gessner Road in Houston, Texas. The dispute escalated when the suspect produced a firearm and shot both men. Torres Gomez was transported to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries on January 13. The 19-year-old victim sustained gunshot w ...
