Barrett Travis Hill, a 38-year-old white male, was a Deputy Sheriff with the Harris County Sheriff's Office in Houston, Texas. On December 4, 2000, Deputy Hill was tragically killed while responding to a call about two individuals breaking into cars in a wooded area in the 900 block of Dunson Glen Drive. Upon arrival, the suspects fled into the woods, and Deputy Hill, along with his field training officer, pursued them on foot.
