Death by Force

On April 6, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Garland Police Department officers responded to reports of a weapons disturbance at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of Duck Creek Drive in Garland, Texas. Upon arrival, they discovered 31-year-old Marquicha LaShun Mingo, a Dallas resident, suffering from gunshot wounds. Mingo was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
