On March 3, 2015, 81-year-old Charlene Smith, a white female, was found dead alongside her husband, 85-year-old Arthur Smith, at the Winters Park Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in Garland, Texas. The couple was discovered lying on the floor of Charlene's room by police officers who responded to a call about someone bleeding. Upon arrival, both Charlene and Arthur were found deceased.
