On May 2, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2000 block of Lewiston Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 43-year-old LaDerrick Majors with fatal gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced him deceased at the scene.
