On May 14, 2024, at approximately 4:10 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call near the 13100 block of N. Central Service Road Sb. Upon arrival, officers discovered 53-year-old David Charles Brock inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported Brock to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
The following day, on May 15, 2024, authorities arrested 36-year-old Antoine Stevenson in connection with Brock's death.
Stevenson was booked into the Dallas County jail on a murder charge, as well as a count of evading arrest or detention from a previous conviction. His total bond was set at $1.525 million.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Brock's death remains ongoing. Detective Jacob White of the Dallas Police Department is leading the case and has urged anyone with information to come forward.
