On May 18, 2024, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident at the Broadstone Paragon Apartments located in the 2400 block of N. Washington Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered two sisters, 24-year-old Amaya Lockett and 22-year-old Jalisa Lockett, deceased from gunshot wounds. A third victim, identified as Moises Flores, was found with gunshot injuries and transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
