Shanique Shameion Alex, a 25-year-old woman from Dallas, Texas, tragically lost her life on March 9, 2022. She was found shot in the driver's seat of a car in the 3800 block of East Illinois Avenue. First responders discovered her with a gunshot wound to her upper back and transported her to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. A second victim, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was also injured but remained in stable condition.
