On May 29, 2024, at approximately 1:25 a.m., Amarillo police responded to a report of a male with a gunshot wound at the Toot 'n Totum convenience store located at 2601 SW 3rd Avenue. The individual, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the hand, informed officers of another potential victim at a residence in the 100 block of North Bowyer Street.
