Cindy Jayroe, a 56-year-old woman of Caucasian ethnicity, was fatally shot on March 7, 2021, in Amarillo, Texas. She was the beloved owner of Rumors Bar, a place where she was affectionately known as "Mom" by many in the community. On that fateful morning, Cindy was shot in the parking lot of her bar by Trecoby Leon Campbell, a 25-year-old man. She was rushed to the hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries.
