On June 21, 2024, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Waco police officers responded to a shooting incident in the 2500 block of Summer Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 46-year-old Tony Alexander suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers administered immediate first aid before Alexander was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on June 23, 2024.
