Hunter Davis, a 20-year-old man, died after suffering a gunshot wound during the early morning hours of July 3, 2024, at a residence in southwest Houston, Texas. Houston police said the shooting occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m. at 6353 Richmond Avenue. Officers responding to a report of a shooting entered the residence and found Davis seriously wounded.
Houston Fire Department paramedics provided emergency assistance and transported him to a nearby hospital, but doctors were unable to save him and he was pronounced dead.
