On July 15, 2024, 14-year-old Timothy Chavez was fatally shot outside his home on South Mittman Street in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m., when family members reported seeing Chavez walk outside to meet someone. Surveillance footage revealed a maroon sedan pulling up to the residence; shortly thereafter, multiple gunshots were heard, and the vehicle sped away.
