On July 15, 2024, 36-year-old David Martinez was found deceased with multiple gunshot wounds inside a residence on the 1300 block of South 19 ½ Street in McAllen, Texas. Responding to a 10:55 a.m. emergency call reporting a death, McAllen police officers discovered Martinez's body and initiated a homicide investigation.
