Thomas Myles "Myles" Dougherty, a 45-year-old decorated World War II combat veteran, vanished from Sioux City, Iowa, on January 12, 1961. His disappearance has left his family searching for answers for decades. Dougherty, who served as a Staff Sgt. in the U.S. Army, was a double amputee, having lost both hands in Normandy, France, during the war.
