Ronald LeRoy Zellmer, 31, was last seen on April 6, 1985, in Sioux City, Iowa. At around 5:50 a.m., South Sioux City, Nebraska, police discovered his 1984 Chevrolet Cavalier abandoned on the south end of the Veterans Memorial Bridge, with its engine still running. When Sioux City police checked his apartment at 1003 Pierce Street, they found it empty and showed no signs of disturbance.
