On July 22, 2024, at approximately 8:39 p.m., Killeen Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving an armed individual at a residence in the 1300 block of Karen Drive. Upon entering the home, officers discovered 28-year-old Tanesha Sedwick and her husband, 29-year-old Walter Sedwick, both deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson pronounced Tanesha dead at 8:46 p.m. and Walter at 8:48 p.m., ordering autopsies for both at the Southwest Institute
