On October 14, 2024, 20-year-old Marquise Dashun Evans was found deceased inside a silver car parked in the 800 block of East Grayson Street near downtown San Antonio, Texas. Responding to reports of a shooting around 8:30 p.m., San Antonio police officers discovered Evans had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed his identity and ruled his death a homicide.
