On February 18, 2023, at approximately 6:10 p.m., Pomona Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of East Holt Avenue in Pomona, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 34-year-old Steven Anthony Arias Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite prompt medical attention, Arias Jr. succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
