Two individuals inside the vehicle, 18-year-old Anthony Martinez Ortiz and a juvenile whose identity remains undisclosed due to age, were detained. Martinez Ortiz, a resident of Sylmar, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder and has pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder. He is currently held without bail, with a court hearing scheduled for January 8, 2024.
