On the evening of May 1, 2023, 31-year-old Clayton Bryant Sills of Pittsburg, California, was fatally shot in Antioch. After attending his 9-year-old son's baseball game, Sills left to pick up a pizza for his family but did not return. Concerned after half an hour, his wife, Ariana, tracked his location to a 7-Eleven on Hillcrest Avenue. Upon arrival, she found the area cordoned off by police, with her husband's car present at the scene.
