William Ensley Hipp III, aged 39, was last seen on July 1, 1991, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hipp, who had a history of alcoholism and required medication for manic depression, disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Despite extensive searches and investigations, his whereabouts remain unknown. There were unconfirmed sightings near Chapel Hill, North Carolina, during the summer of 1996, but no definitive evidence has been found to confirm his location since then.
