Death by Force

On May 20, 2023, at approximately 4:20 a.m., Charles Brown, a 25-year-old resident of Los Angeles, was fatally shot in the 8900 block of Western Avenue, near 89th Street, in South Los Angeles. Another man in his 30s was critically wounded during the same incident and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
