Efren Chairez Diaz, a 29-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on July 18, 2017, in Wilmington, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Marine Avenue. Diaz was standing with a group of people when an unidentified assailant approached and opened fire.
