On June 11, 2023, 18-year-old Nadia Itzel Tirado from Oakley, California, was tragically killed during a shooting at a birthday party in Antioch. The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. at a residence on the 3300 block of Sunset Lane, where a 19-year-old man was hosting a large gathering. Uninvited individuals reportedly crashed the party, leading to an altercation that escalated into gunfire.
