On the evening of July 23, 2023, at approximately 10 p.m., Stockton Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting near Sierra Nevada and Oak streets in Stockton, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 34-year-old Stockton resident Guy Z. Zielske suffering from gunshot wounds. Zielske was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
