Death by Force

On August 17, 2023, at approximately 10:05 a.m., Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers responded to a shooting in the 500 block of South Lorena Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 45-year-old Fermin Ruelas inside his residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention, Ruelas was pronounced dead at the scene.
