Andrea Vasquez, a 19-year-old woman from Whittier, California, was tragically killed on August 20, 2023. The incident began when Vasquez and her boyfriend were parked in a secluded area of Penn Park in Whittier. An armed assailant approached their vehicle and began shooting. Vasquez's boyfriend managed to flee the scene and, upon returning, found blood near his car and Vasquez missing.
