On December 22, 2020, Yvonne Acosta, aged 46, was tragically killed in Whittier, California. The incident occurred inside a Kohl's department store where she was fatally shot by her estranged husband, Enrique Acosta. The couple had been separated for about a year, and the shooting took place in the presence of their 8-year-old son.
