Iva Lee Garrett, a 75-year-old resident of Whittier, California, tragically lost her life on January 11, 2018. The incident occurred in the evening at her home on Shoemaker Avenue. According to reports, Iva and her husband, Columbus Gerald Garrett, 74, were in their living room when their daughter, who was in another part of the house, heard two gunshots. Upon rushing to the living room, she discovered her parents had been shot and immediately called 911.
