On September 3, 2023, at approximately 1:07 a.m., Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 100 block of West 71st Street in South Los Angeles. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Juan Ramos Rivera inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Tragically, Rivera was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office later identified the victim as Rivera, a resident of Los Angeles. Despit ...
