Hector David Flores, a 16-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on February 2, 2022, in Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred in the Historic South-Central neighborhood, specifically near 252 E. 28th Street. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Hector was shot while sitting in his vehicle. The shooting took place in broad daylight, around 2:10 p.m., which added to the shock and urgency of the situation.
