Jesus Manuel Nunez, a 22-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on February 3, 2014, in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. in the 2100 block of East Cesar Chavez Avenue. According to reports, a security guard at a nearby nightclub heard gunfire and discovered Nunez lying on the sidewalk along with another man who had been shot in the back.
