On December 13, 2023, at approximately 2:40 a.m., 48-year-old Jorge Rodolfo Villagran was fatally shot near the intersection of San Jose and Plymouth Avenues in San Francisco's Oceanview neighborhood. Responding officers from the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) found Villagran suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
