Robert Stoeckmann, a 26-year-old field clerk for Pacific Gas and Electric Company, was tragically shot on November 9, 1973, in San Francisco, California. On that fateful evening, Stoeckmann was on duty, picking up paperwork from various projects. While at a company stockyard on Army Street around 8 p.m., he was approached by a well-dressed man who asked for directions to a filling station.
