On December 27, 2023, at approximately 7:48 p.m., 31-year-old Charles Von Wolfgang Black was fatally shot near the intersection of Whitley Avenue and Josephine Avenue in Corcoran, California. Responding officers from the Corcoran Police Department found Black lying in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
