On January 1, 2024, at approximately 12:10 a.m., 34-year-old Jose Juarez was fatally shot in Oxnard, California. The incident occurred in the 2100 block of Sierra Way, where Juarez was found with a single gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported him to Ventura County Medical Center, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
