On January 6, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m., 27-year-old Kevin Quintanilla was fatally shot near the intersection of 16th Street and Terry A. Francois Boulevard, adjacent to San Francisco's Chase Center. Upon arrival, San Francisco Police Department officers found Quintanilla suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
