Calvin M. Fong, an 18-year-old recent graduate of Riordan High School, tragically lost his life on September 4, 1977, during the infamous Golden Dragon Massacre in San Francisco's Chinatown. This gang-related mass shooting occurred inside the Golden Dragon Restaurant, located at 822 Washington Street. The massacre was a result of a violent feud between two rival Chinese youth gangs, the Joe Boys and the Wah Ching.
