On February 20, 2024, in Santa Clara, California, 3-year-old Ivan Martinez-Alvarado was tragically shot and killed while sleeping in his crib. The incident occurred in the early hours at the Riley Square Apartments, where Ivan lived with his mother and her boyfriend, 24-year-old Sergio Colin-Gomez.
