Jose Torres, 25, male, Hispanic, was found shot to death in the early hours of March 8, 2024, on a quiet stretch near Reseda Boulevard and Winford Drive in Tarzana, just outside a gated neighborhood by the Braemar Country Club. A security guard discovered him in the street with multiple gunshot wounds; LAPD West Valley officers responded around 12:30 a.m., and the county medical examiner later ruled the death a homicide caused by multiple gunshot wounds.
