On the evening of March 14, 2024, at approximately 9:50 p.m., 31-year-old Alfredo Ivan Canelo was fatally shot in Pico Rivera, California. The incident occurred in the 9300 block of Slauson Avenue, between Rosemead and Passons boulevards, where Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies found Canelo lying on the sidewalk near a bus stop. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:01 p.m.
