On March 21, 2024, at approximately 4:20 a.m., 20-year-old Kendra Reana McIntyre was found with a gunshot wound near the intersection of 70th Street and Figueroa Street in South Los Angeles, an area known for sex work. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
