On April 24, 2024, at approximately 1:52 a.m., deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of 91st Street and Compton Avenue in South Los Angeles. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 31-year-old Jesus Fabian Castillo lying on the roadway, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
