On June 17, 2024, 59-year-old Fletcher Christoph Hicklen was fatally shot in the driveway of a residence in Los Angeles' Crenshaw District. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner determined the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds and classified the manner of death as homicide.
