On July 24, 2024, at approximately 5:41 p.m., San Francisco police officers responded to reports of a shooting near the 16th Street Mission BART station. Upon arrival, they discovered Derrick Robinson, a 31-year-old resident of Solano County, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to a hospital, Robinson succumbed to his injuries.
