Louis Dake, a 61-year-old security guard, tragically lost his life on March 4, 1969, in San Francisco, California. His death occurred during an attempted armored truck robbery. Dake was employed by Loomis, a security company, and was on duty when the incident took place. The robbery was orchestrated by Roberto Solis, a notorious criminal with a history of violent offenses.
