Gerson Romero, a 19-year-old from San Francisco, tragically lost his life on August 11, 2018, in a gang-related shooting. The incident occurred in the Excelsior neighborhood of San Francisco, where Romero and several friends were targeted by members of the 19th Street/16th Street Sureños, a local street gang.
